Lease Terms & Referral Process

TandemLease.com provides a referral service that connects tandem bicycle buyers with consumer financing partners. Please read these terms carefully before submitting an application.
1. We Are a Referral Source, Not a Lender
Webb Capital Corp., operating as TandemLease.com, is an independent marketing and referral company. We do not originate, underwrite, fund, or service loans. We earn a referral fee from our lender partners when applicants we refer choose to proceed with their financing offer. This is disclosed up front so you understand the nature of our relationship with the lenders.
2. Our Lending Partners
We currently refer applicants to the following consumer-finance partners:
- LightStream (a division of Truist Bank) — unsecured personal loans for recreational purchases
- Prosper — peer-to-peer personal loans
- LendingClub — personal installment loans
- Upgrade — fixed-rate personal loans
Each partner sets its own rates, fees, eligibility criteria, and loan terms. We do not control the offers you receive, and we do not represent any single lender exclusively.
3. Loan Amounts and Use of Funds
Most of our partners offer personal loans from approximately $1,000 up to $20,000 (the upper limit varies by lender and creditworthiness). Funds disbursed by a lender are paid directly to you and may be used to purchase a tandem bicycle from any retailer of your choosing.
4. Application Process
- Submit a preliminary inquiry through our Apply Now form.
- We forward your information to one or more of our lending partners that best match your profile.
- You complete the lender’s full application directly on their secure platform.
- The lender performs its own credit review (typically including a hard credit pull at final application).
- If approved, you receive a loan offer with the rate, term, monthly payment, and fees disclosed in a federal Truth in Lending Act statement.
- You decide whether to accept the offer. There is no obligation to accept.
5. Eligibility
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
- Must have a verifiable source of income
- Must have a valid Social Security Number
- Must have a US bank account in your name
Lenders have additional requirements (minimum credit score, debt-to-income limits, employment verification) which they will disclose during their application.
6. No Guarantee of Approval
Submitting an inquiry to TandemLease.com does not guarantee approval or any specific rate or loan amount. Final decisions, terms, and disbursements are at the sole discretion of the lender.
7. Credit Inquiries
Our preliminary form does not pull your credit. The lender’s pre-qualification step typically performs a soft inquiry that does not affect your credit score. A hard credit inquiry is generally only performed if you proceed to a full application with a lender. Please review each lender’s disclosures for specifics.
8. Compensation Disclosure
TandemLease.com receives a referral commission from our lending partners when an applicant proceeds with a funded loan. This compensation does not increase the cost of your loan; lender pricing is the same whether you reach the lender through us or directly.
9. Privacy of Application Data
Information you submit through our referral form is shared only with the lender(s) we match you with. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
10. Cancellation
You may decline any loan offer at any time before signing the lender’s loan agreement at no cost. After funding, cancellation and prepayment terms are set by your lender.
